How about a side game?

What if I want a game with somone in another group?
Marker was designed with this in mind! Say your in the first group of your regular Saturday Event but you want a match with your arch rival(s) in the second group... No problem, Marker has you covered. Just edit your scorecard and you can create a game with any other player(s) in the Event. Let's look at how we do this below.

So you just received your scorecard for the game at Old Mac today. You're in the first group but you want a match against your rivals in the second group. Just tap on the "i" icon and we'll get you setup.

Here is the overview of your scorecard settings, you can see the partners you are playing with and the overall games. Tap on the "+" icon and we'll add another match with your rivals in group 2.

In this case we're going to add a Nassau with players in the second group. Tap that button and the game will be added to your card and we'll see your existing playing partners selected.

Since this game is not with Dave or Ed - uncheck the box next to their names and then scroll down to see the other players in the event.

Tap the checkbox next to Frank and Greg to add them to the game then scroll down to make sure you have the sides configured the way you want them.

Tap the "X" or "+" icons next to the players names to determine the sides. In this case we're going to have Bert and Bart v. Frank and Greg. Here we can also start to configure the bets and presses. We're going to make this a 5-5-10 with auto 2 down presses all around.

Presses can be configured from 1 to 10 - just tap the drop-down to select your setting. We are also setting the 1-18 bet here to $10.

Finally we select the number of net and/or gross balls to use. For simplictiy we're going to select one net best ball. Tap "Save" and we're taken back to our scorecard settings page.

Here we can see the new game that has been added. Tap "View scorecard" to start keeping score.

As we start to enter scores we see the match status is updated in the right hand column. Keep in mind that you need to select the Nassau tab at the top of the screen to see this view and that the match status will not be updated until the later group enters their scores. At any time you can tap the trophy icon to see the leaderboard which will now have your additional game.

Scroll to the bottom of the leaderboard to see the status of the Nassau (the last game added). Here you can see a summary of the match so far.

As we play out the front nine you can see the status of the match including the auto 2-down presses.
